30 weeks front (getting wider!)
30 weeks side...have you ever heard of the country song "rockin' the beer gut" ?? That's how I feel lol
Even looking at week 27's photos it is noticeable that I am growing! BUT, that's what supposed to happen :)
On Tuesday we had a growth ultra sound, Cami weighs 3lbs 10 ounces and is in the 70th percentile! She is measuring 8 days ahead of her due date (June 22, 2012). At the rate she is going it looks like she will be arriving early. My Dr. said women with gestational diabetes tend to deliver 3-4 weeks early because they grow faster and often have to be delivered via c-section so we will see! Our next wellness visit with the Doctor is this coming week, the appointments are going to get closer and closer together as we get closer to our due date.
Our nursery is finally coming together. On Saturday the dresser arrived, so we put that together. Then on Monday the crib arrived and Jason put that together. Here are some photos below.
My gestational diabetes management is going really well. I have not had any readings higher than 127, so I behaving myself. It is hard though to have willpower with Jelly Beans...but this is well worth it. I can eat as many as I want next year (that is if I am not pregnant again...).
The only complaint I am having is my wrists are killing me. My hands go numb on and off throughout the day, but the Dr said this is just carpal tunnel nothing to worry about.
On Tuesday I have a two series breast feeding class at the hospital where Cami will be born. Unfortunately, Jason will not be able to attend with me due to work. I'm not to sure how crazy he was anyway about sitting in a class full of women talking about boobs and breast milk ....
Belly measurement for the ladies who work at the bank with my Aunt Sue: 39 1/2 inches (either I grew 1/2 inch this week or I stink at taking measurements!
